To attract people to place comments on your blog is a very challenge task. Even though it is not that simple but t is not impossible to get people to your blog. You might have many traffics coming in but not everyone is willing to take some time to post comment on your blog. You need to find ways to keep the comments rolling in on daily basis but how exactly can you achieve that?
There are only a few reasons people will stop to comment on blogs. They disagree with what you had to say, they get something out of it intrinsically or they get something out of it externally.
The first reason refers to link bait. Link bait posts are often controversial to attract more people to read it. When used in the correct way, it can be a gold mine for you as people like to read controversial posts. You just need to write something that interests you strongly. This way you encourage people to participate in the discussion especially people in your niche.
The second reason refers to the fact that they feel good about posting a comment. It can be either because they need to get something out of their mind or to thank you for writing the post. If you have excellent content, you will have a large audience focusing on you.
The third reason people comment on blogs is because they get something out of it externally. That means that they get some kind of prize or reward for their comments. For example, you might post that the first person who can answer X question will win a prize. Or, you might ask them for their thoughts on something and you’ll pick the best one to give the prize to. No matter how you do it, these eternal rewards are a no-fail way of getting people to comment on your blog.
You will find that people will never get enough of free gifts and rewards so make your offers look as good as possible and people will be crazy just to get the offers even if the offers are simple. Run these events every month or so and people will be coming back to see what you have to offer in the future. Soon, there will be an audience who can?t wait for your next post.
As you can see, it’s easy to get people to comment on your blog if you understand the reasons why people comment in the first place. It’s all about keeping those future commentators in your mind as you plan your content.
